Why subscribe?
When it comes to screen time, most parents are struggling. We’ve tried time limits, parental controls, and “balanced” tech use. But the kids are getting worse, not better.
The current structure is leaving parents stressed and teenagers with record high rates of anxiety and depression.
Most of the advice out there, even from the Church and para-church organizations leaves teenagers in Christian homes looking an awful lot like their non-Christian peers.
Given years of research, experience, and advocating, I know that there is a better way forward. So, it is time we discuss ALL options. No longer should it be taboo to say no to smartphones & social media for teenagers.
From alcohol to cigarette, we put a lot of restrictions on what teenagers are allowed to do. It’s okay in this new digital era to add more restrictions.
