One year ago today, I followed a prompting from the Lord, my husband, and some sweet friends. Thanks for reading along!!

I’m really excited about some projects I have planned for late summer/early fall, so keep an eye out for more details. As I’m busy with some of those projects and my boys are home from school for the summer, weekly postings will be a little more sporadic over the summer months. Writing Dear Christian Parent really has been an obedience to the Lord’s calling on my life and I’m having so much fun doing it! My mission remains to encourage parents, pastors, and youth leaders to think deeply and Biblically about the role of screen media in the life of minors. Thanks for hanging with me and reading along!

Haidt calls for a return to the play-based childhood which will require simple, but necessary, changes by parents, schools and governments. I’m linking to it below in case you missed it.
Congrats on a year, Emily. The Lord has used your ministry in some wonderful ways and you've helped me personally think more about technology in my home. We own an Ooma landline phone now because of you! Keep writing!
Congrats!
